The Future for Son

This weekend, as I was watching the Tottenham-Wycombe FA Cup fixture, Tottenham Hotspur went down 2-0 at halftime. After a seemingly effective Pochettino halftime talk, the Spurs equalized within 20 minutes. But there were more twists to this tale; Wycombe scored what seemed be the winner with 7 minutes remaining in regular time. But, once again, Spurs weren’t done – Dele equalized 6 minutes later and Heung-min Son won it deep into stoppage time. This was the second consecutive match in which I saw Son bail out Tottenham (after he equalized late in a 2-2 draw against Manchester City). This led me back to his magical form at the start of the season, which won him EPL Player of the Month. But no matter what he does, he can’t seem to crack into Tottenham’s starting lineup, which led me to a very interesting question: What’s next for Son? Continue reading The Future for Son
